QiQi...ic....as for 288 that night got someone hang her $200 plus 2 $50 during the first round...so I am glad for her... hopefully she got more supporters now..anyway I always encourage her to PR more with other customers....but I hung abit more for another singer which sat down to chit chat with me so think she got the hint and left me alone after that...I do think that once she get the tricks of the trade she will do better...

it's amazing how these girls think with some talent to perform they can survive here...same case for this new singer I spoke to...nm they will learn after one month...

Interesting night last night (Tuesday)... #888 (new singer replacing Cheng cheng) has got a 皇冠 during PPC. Some rich bro really fast hands fast legs and even faster hang-hung-hook. Didnt see her around thereafter ... :p

The 2 new chio singers are perhaps #888 and #28. #28 got a bit or exotic mixed looks - then again hor, one man's meat may be another's poison thus discretion intended. kekeke. :)

The other 2 in the looks category may be #99 and #123. At least #99 can sing... and got quite a nice body. She also got a canon on last Monday liaoz during PPC - one of the 5 singers who gotten one. Wonder who is the lucky bro :D

Met #288 during her last few days there at CMC - attitude was pretty bad, totall disengaged and lackluster. Simply not fitting for a singer, she was boasting to #123 that she will be going to Armani and whats not.

Looks like #28 has a very strong (crowns giver) supporter out there and #99 has been receiving canons of late too. Looks like #999 Kexin is being pushed left right under front and back by #28, #99, #123 and #888. Time has proven once more that these 4 are consistent with their takings... then again hor, you will never know when the fallen will rise again. Minor shareholder wor...maybe the major shareholders got to tear his butt up. Sure it was a bit distasteful being that flower hung last night as a perception were 2x $500/- plus 1x $1000/- plus 2x $200/- plus 1x $50/-. However, I heard that of the $2000/- he hung, the gal only gotten $1000/- ... you can sure guess the details backstage.

In my opinion, sometimes bosses of HFJs do stir sentiments of customers to raise the stakes by using another singer or fake flowers to bait'em in but in this situation, it wasn't meant to raise the stakes... you guys go figure.

All in all it was a good night; #456 下档秀 garnered over $20K in flowers, every singer has at least $200/- tally, #123 has gotten nearly $5k of flowers, #123 has nearly $2K, #278 has over $1K, #888 and Yu Han each about $1K. For a small joint like CMC, the takings for the night can rival the bigger boys liaoz. :)

This is really sad lor that because of one monkey, they are going to lose lot of bananas - really expensive bananas!!!

For the same reasons as in the previous Sandborg, heard few big clients left in disgust.

The root of the problem is not the place nor the entire management team nor the major shareholders - this group of stakeholders have lots to lose as compared to some minor shareholders. Hopefully the major partners take note of this and rectify the root cause, eradicate the problem caused internally by this teeny weeny peanut!

Long time did not update this thread cos I was on business trip and just came back on Sunday.

Upon touching down, I received a call from a fellow good bro to go to Club Jade as there is a new ex-DC singer starting. Fast hand fast legs, I jio bro DYBJ and my other bro jio another flower-king to go CJ.

I asked my gal #888 from Monte Carlo to join me at CJ for a short while after her 1st segment. There, I saw several familair faces and a recollection of old times.

The bad news for me was that I was spotted when coming into CJ by my little sister from DC, who promptly text me to drop by to DC since its a sunday and quiet enough to have a chat. So yar, at 11pm me and bro DYBJ popped by to DC and were greeted by once again the very familair faces. :D

Asked my gal #888 to come down to have a short drink with me and for me to introduce a few other pals to her so that they can support support in my absence. The Emcee of Monte Carlo told her that she cannot go off to other sites. Hahaha, no issues lor but CMC has no customers that night (Sunday). Business so bad hah, no walk in and singers cannot even go other sites to pull in customers??? Fortunately, #888 and a few other gals got some small $50/- flowers because her colleague "hubby" was there and all support in friendship as we usually do.

Also learnt that business has been really poor... thought of going there to support despite several bros telling me not worth it. I will do so because my gal is working there and I have no animosity with the joint despite the fake flowers issues, singers' attitude etc etc.

However, at the very last minute, his wife needs him home to babysit so lan-lan I go alone. Coincidentally, bro DYBJ called and jio me for kopi (KNN, I tea drinker lah) and so we both headed up to CJ.

Got to know a good quality SYT Malaysian singer... not too bad, perhaps the type that is suitable to bro Marc5 - can drink, humourous, speaks english. MY singer friend also introduce her good mate to me... so we have had a happy time there.

Then my gal #888 from Monte Carlo called me and I told her I was at CJ. She said today got Kexin #999 下档秀 and bro DYBJ said that he forgotten about it and we should support. Taking that as an excuse, we took a half-time departure from CJ to visit Monte Carlo but with bro DYBJ visiting the ATM first to draw money... wads loads of them. Cheesebun, making me feel small again. :D

Happily we reached Monte Carlo and it was nearing PPC. My gal came over to greet me and I asked her got 皇冠 or not. She said ever since the big boys left the place, where got what 皇冠 already. Me was like "????" cos folks who cheong with me will know I usually hang a minimum of $500/- each set.

Fast forward, I hung a 皇冠 for #888 and it was supposed to be a 谢词 segment for all the 皇冠 holders. But the emcee Yu Han totally forgotten - second time liao. I feedbacked to the GM and he apologise profusely, citing that it should not happen and will never happen again.

Man!!! What is going on with this place? Emcee is supposed to help singers gather more flowers, but this prick brain is putting the big clients off. He should take a cue from DC how they do their PPC. A 皇冠 status is as good as a $50/- flower cos he came over and said "对不起呀， 忘了。 很久没有人吊皇冠了。“ :eek:

Operational incapabilities coupled with poor singers/stage management (not to mention fake flowers), I can fully comprehend why the big boys either refuse to come to this place or have left the place altogether now. Big flower hangers do talk to each other. I am another one who have left to join this group of poor buddies and outcasts. Hahaha... :D

Anyway, me and bro DYBJ left in utter disgust and poor memory of the place but saved several thousands worth of moolah in our pockets. Poor #999 & #888... Thanks but no thanks, viva la CMC!!!!

Scrap customers, piece meal clients and 烂客 will always be there. Hang $50/- small flower like big farks and rowdy cowboys. But I am glad most of the folks I know around are the decent types. Wow, they open twice in 1 year liaoz??? That's speaks volume indeed. Anyway for such small joints opening, with no big flowers hangers, its often the beverages suppliers who will hang big. Yup yup, Yu Hang nice guy with a political agenda. I also learnt that he was in the female domitary going thru' the opening ceremony items. A guy in gals room... please lor. Was he a "sister" too.... hahaha.

He is good in the sax but... stage presence and ability to engage are severely lacking. Absolutely lack of charm. I miss the good ol'days of the 8 kings of flower hanging. They were the legends and I am no way near their league.

Anyway I told #888 that she can forget about me hanging her anymore, I stupid ah give her money and yet still feed the company. Cannot be right... Anyway if the company does not think that their singers is able to meet the $8K monthly target, they better start thinking how come they cannot entice the proper customers to their joint. Recently I went over to 6th floor and thus far its good. Bro Marc5 and DYBJ also joined me there as well as 2 other flower kings of the scene. You should join us for one of these outings! :D

Last nite, I was just lazing around doing nothing so decided to pop by DC to see a good old friend. I was about to leave DC when a singer from 6th floor called me. So yar I was there ... (again!) last night.

I also learnt from my gal and several other singers from CMC that there were only 2 tables of customers at 4th floor... no major flowers. Thus I requested #888 to join me upstairs for a quick drink and intro to her some new friends I made there. Being in the mood, I dedicated a song segment for her and hung her $2000/- on the spot. The boss and the Emcee of CJ asked me where she from and I told them downstairs, they were amazed. Another bro told me that #888 deserves a big stage/client base to accomodate her talents.

Anyway, its time for my kopi now... resting at home today and getting ready for LV and Lido P tomorrow night!

For Lido and DC, all you need are 2 to 3 tables and the tally is easily a 5 digits figure. I was at Club Jade earlier with a few bros, followed by DC and then back to Lido again. Very tiring - you should join us once you hear I was at DC.

Anyway, got to thank you for supporting a couple of my favorites there but you left early unfortunately.

Favourites do not equate to having feeling for. Xiang Qi, XiangXiang all are nice folks. The other new singer I am not too sure wor cos me hasn't been up there for a while and has no intention to for the time being.

BTW, I have most of the joints flower in my sms or emails daily. So there is little hiding away the news unless the flowers integrity is compromised. :D

If you are a genuine flower hanger, will you choose to patronise a joint where you know the flowers are real or will you still foolishly go to a joint where it is obvious the vast majority of the big flowers are fake.

Very simple and rule of thumb - go and sit in Lido, observe their consistent flower patterns, go to LV as well as DC to have a look. Do it over a few days and then you step into joints with fake flowers, you will know.

Certain things just cannot be taught ot explicitly expressed, it has to be experienced. Just do your research here and talk to the experience hanging flower bros who will guide you along. I am just a rookie rook who have benefitted from the rest of the bros guidances here.

Anyway there is one thing I agree with you and that is "Buyers beware"; this is why sharing amongst bros is important.

My take is that there are always different ways of getting business....some more ethical and some not....as a consumer if I go there and support a singer but is mislead into thinking there are others vying for the same singer and challenging me to hang more but it's actually fake then I would feel that it is underhanded...it doesn't matter anyway...becos such tactics will eventually backfire as reflected by the customers becos it is clear to see where they customers are now...

Well said, but then again, when you do a recce on the ground, especially in the nite scene, what is truth & what is lies? A joint con people money will inturn say people owe them money. They will not hesitate to spread this kinda rumour like wildfire to everyone every joint just to protect their interests! Even if staff know, who are you that they're gonna tell you anything to jeopardise their livelihood there?
