Thank you. I am conscious that a tourist is overcharged, so I try to be prudent in my assessments. I repeat we have to distinguish between rental time (whole day, but driver waits you most of the time) and hours of driving time, to estimate a fair price. Then, let me ask you for my better understanding:

1) what should be, in your opinion, the honest price for 3 hours, going to Barelang 4th bridge, wait we have our seafood lunch, return to Nagoya?

2) how much could it cost, in your opinion, the fuel (just the gasoline) for 3 hours driving around Batam?

About the question 2), I estimate:
40km/h average speed in the slow roads of Batam, = 120 km total, 10 l/km, = 12 liters fuel consumed. The web site

says that 1 l costs 10.000 IDR in Batam . What is the actual price??
If that's true, just the gasoline for 3 hours driving is 120k Rp!!
Based on that, 210k Rp for 3 hours by taxi does not sound expensive to me. The driver must earn something too, after all.

PS: you leave the disco at 2am? It's the hottest time! I leave at 5am, and I use ojek if I am alone

Tomorrow wanted to bonk in batam, no more wave master, is it the departure of prima ferries from sg to harbour bay as much as wave master? Please suggest?

Just back from batam today. Try K8 massage and can confirm not clean. More than special. And from my views, the rate to change ruppiah is more better in Carefour near the phone shop there. Outside harbour bay near the escalator to the mall is 7770 and in carefour is 7830.

And yes , those bro who buy 2 way return tickets from harbour bay to singapore can get a refund . Go to the counter in front of Prima ferry. Ask for a refund of $10. The counter used to be the old check in counter for wave master.

Dun say I picha lobang...... taxis in batam refuel using kapal diesel..... very economical and less than half the price of normal fuel.

Alamak bro,, u give numbers make me blur... I dont do all this calculation... Personally i find 70K and hr in expensive.... But it is just my personal opinion. If you think it cheap, then go ahead, U are paying not me... I'm just sharing what i have paid before...

Anyway old man leave disco at 2am. Already become zombie during that time.... If leave at 5am, may need to check in hospital instead of hotel...

Bro DDAMn and Paulwal . K8 is quite near Lai Lai hotel if i am not mistaken.
Actually i go to the sport massage at jodoh there and is full house.
So i walk quite further up . Turn left walk and walk and then i saw K8 massage. At first i thought is a small shop only. When i go in, then i know is 3 shop house turn into 1 large shop.

Yesterday I tried already... Really messy up the prima service. I cam about 6.45 to bought a ticket at 19.25 the office girl just said all full book and also can only get last ferry at 21.00 pm Singapore time... Reach harbour bay all shop closed already.... Really terrible...
