hey bros! guess wat.. ironically we are the one closing down most of these joints.. due to our detailed reports of our sexual life.. The best part is most of us don't give a shit to what can result from the little FR we post here. Guess this really speed up the work of the AV.. sometimes i wonder if we should continue to be so helpful or should we juz keep our adventure to ourselves and our closer frens.. of course complains from the public is definitely going to get some actions from the police too.. this is inevitable.. but should we still be so proactive in contributing? True enough the gals comes and goes no matter how active the goverment is raiding them.. but sometimes there's this one place where we are juz too comfortable with and hope nothing happens to it.

To be very honest, I don't think our police force is dumb. With or without this forum, with or without our FRs, I believe they now exactly what is going on.

Personally, I believe that they rely more on complainants, tipsters and informants more than looking at SB forum for ideas on where there is vice.

In addition, every business has to be registered with ACRA. Once the govt sees any business name with "massage", "aromatherapy" or even "reflexology", they will come to alert already since we all know 8-9 out 10 such joints offer special services. And I think those ads on TNP are telling enough.

I think they keep their eyes closed for most of time unless:

1) Public complains
2) Brazen behaviour (e.g. touting, off-street solicitation etc) -which usually leads to (1)
3) As long as there is a political impetus to act

As long as the girls keep themselves clean and healthy (no reported health risk), stay discreet in their operations, most of the time it should be safe.

but I guess its also true to say that police will also base on complains like the recent heat on JC is where the residents step in and say, its like another geylang and we do not need a second one.

Personally I feel the police have many resources to obtain infromation on the going ons and perhaps this forum is one of them. H'ever they are not out to kill the joys of the little people like us. I believe as long as things don't get out of hand, (involving drugs and such) they pretty much keep a blind eye.

I concur that so long as there is no obvious street solicitation, no complaints, no public pressure etc etc, the police or AV would likely not step in. But again once in a while, they might conduct raids here and there just to show to the public that they are efficient and is doing something, especially now with the public complaining about such vice. There was a raid in GL yesterday where 110+ PRC was arrested for street solicitation, see today news. Anyway, just stay low for a while and the action will once again comes back. Meanwhile, we can just continue to bonk our gf until the goodies are back in business. However, I do agree that no matter where the police get their information, for the sake of all our lobangs n meimei in this forum, we should try to be more discreet about it and that's the name of the game.
