Different strokes for different folks.
For me, it depends. Sex is more enjoyable when there is a certain chemistry between the two participants. In other words, there should be a mutual liking and desire for each other after setting the scene (flirting, drinks, dinner, etc.). Absence of that, I prefer a good massage with happy ending. No efforts needed...  Again, different strokes for different folks.

I agree with one of the replies earlier..
For sex, I think it's better when there's mutual attraction and all that. I guess it's really about the physical and emotional intimacy of the moment, rather than the actual act. Desire plays a very strong role for one. Both people more horny, the effect gets multiplied. Massage wise, I prefer a good solid firm massage with some long strokes. Different situation would have different preference though. ie, stressed and tired after work, can't really be bothered to play the flirting game. So a clean massage, or even a massage with happy ending might probably be preferred more than sex. However, when physically tired but horny.. Then there's only one choice ;-)

there are some things that has lesser charm when engaged using cash.
sex with a lover or a friend is definitely raging fire. Paid sex can be very cold and mechanical. I myself like a good massage to pamper my. Happy ending with hj or titfuck is optional and deem a bonus. I just treat it like a professional massage which is dependent on the girl's skill. Sex is more about chemistry and less about skills
