SINGAPORE: A deliveryman has been sent to jail for 24 months for outraging the modesty of a 10-year-old girl. In sentencing, District Judge Low Wee Ping remarked how he was shocked when he saw the accused's criminal record. The judge said at the age of 22, most people would either have completed their studies or found a job. However, Mohamed Shariff had already received 24 strokes of the cane and been jailed 36 months. The accused had previously committed a similar offence, among other things.

Considering that the scumbag had previously been caned 24 strokes, what is 24 months jail time to him? It is like sending him to the chalet for 24 months of free food and lodging.
