bros..

has anyone here has experience remitting money to china ? i got a 'fren' who needs cash urgently.. (ya i noe i might be gettin conned.. but she was juz too nice to me and i feel i gotta repay her kindness)..

i did remit once.. at a place in geylang.. transfer fee is 20 bucks and it takes a few days..

but wat i need to noe is whr r the other places which can remit money.. and hopefully at a cheaper rate and shorter transfer interval cos she needs the money urgently..

You can go to chinatown area like pearl centre 2nd flr or people's park C, their remittance fee is $15. See whether is it worth the trip from your residence. I normally made my remittance in my area, very prompt in sending $$ over. If let's say I perfrom a remittance 2day, the recipient will be notifed by the bank on monday noon earliest.

Well... I always transfer using the Industrial Bank of China branch in Far East Plaza (the one opposite Wisma)..

North area. Actually if you gg to remit 2day, tml they are able to park your $$ over liao. Depend of what services they are using.

I mean the type of services the remittance agency used are transparent to us. What I mean if you wanna remit urgently, do it before 3pm today.

ok.. they NEED to be transparent man.. when money is involved.. if not become anot 'peanut' case like nkf cham liao.. hahaha~

thanks for the advice.. but i need to collect back the money tat my frens kiam me 1st.. so i can have more to remit..

Have you tried Western Union Money Transfer?. It takes only 10 mins to transfer. I am not sure of the charges now. The other party just need to find a western union outlet in that country and they can collect cash right away.

There a lots of remittance shop everywhere in Sillypore....Chinatown, Katong, Orchard, Yishun.....etc..... most of them are reliable lah.....

charging fee of $15-$20 is normal mah....
