Gilbert Goh latest FB dumb post
An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Have you seen this? https://www.facebook.com/goh.gilbert...5?stream_ref=1 Here's my volley back to them! Ten symptoms that you are struggling in our costliest city in the world (aka. 10 symptoms why Gilbert Goh is the loser he is) GG: You stay at home most weekend and only venture out to the park and mall as its free of charge to browse through our gleaming shops without buying - anyway you couldn't afford to buy anything with your current pay check. Me: What’s wrong with window shopping? And being thrifty doesn't mean i can't afford - don't assume GG: You try to eat at bus terminal food canteen as it sells the cheapest food you can ever find - $2.80 for three decent dishes and realised that its often crowded. Me: You can get $2-$2.50 meals at hawker centres leh GG: You eat at Macdonald sometimes and buy a single McBurger as its the cheapest single food item available costing only $2.50 - cheaper than a cup of coke there. Me: They do have burgers that cost $2. A cup of coke costs $1 GG: You have your haircut at Chinatown where they still charge you $7 for a fast ten-minute shave and realised you need to go to another barber to tidy up. Haiz. Me: Why are you so stupid not to have it done properly in the first place? And why bother going to Chinatown when you can get $3.80 haircuts at local heartland hair salons? Source: http://saaltedcaramel.wordpress.com/tag/snip-avenue/ ...and...btw Gilbert, you botak lah, cut what hair?! GG: Your pay dries up by the third week and you literally eat bread and drink water for the next seven days before your next pay arrives. Me: After I read the rest of your points, I realized why your pay dries up so quickly. And I think you have a problem with budgeting. GG: When out on a date, you wriggle your way out of restaurant and brought her to your favourite coffee shop with no aircon nor fan. You also try to split the hokkein mee $5 bill with your date and that's the last you hear from her. That's when you decide to stay single. Me: All coffee shops have fans. What are you talking about? If you can’t afford to treat her a $2.50 meal, perhaps you should have saved up in advance before asking her out. And btw, if you can’t even plan for a $5 date, what makes her think you can plan for marriage? You deserve to stay single. GG: You spent at least $50 a month on Toto, 4D and big sweep hoping that your misery will end suddenly but so far you have being contributing to Singapore pool for the past few years without any change of luck. Me: That $50 a month could have provided you with proper meals for those 7 days you went hungry. And I say again - you deserve to stay single. GG: You are constantly browsing through the weekend job ads hoping for a better paying job but so far luck eludes you and you soon realised the better paying jobs end up with the foreigners as the interviewers are mostly foreigners themselves. Me: If you only browse and don’t apply, how can you secure a job? How do you know the better paying jobs went to foreigners? GG: You pay off your most urgent bills first instead of paying up all the bills together when they arrive at the letter box as your pay is not enough to do so - you also pay the minimum for your credit cards and end up just paying mostly the interest on your bills. You wish you didn't went for that year-end holiday at lovely Maldives using your card and suffer now. Me: Maldives is a VERY expensive destination. If you had planned your finances prudently and ensured you still had sufficient savings to pay off your credit bills, you would not be suffering. GG: You wonder when will the government top up your account again as there is this GST top-up that came on and off. Its a slight reprieve and you use the money for a outing at the pub. Life is certainly tough... Me: Other poor people would be better off using the government’s money to pay off their school fees and other necessities. It’s such a waste of government’s money on alcohol that goes into your system and makes you stupider than you already are. And I'll say it again - Gilbert, you DESERVE to stay single. You're a disgrace to the planet. Tracy. Click here to view the whole thread at www.sammyboy.com. |
