My Quest for Good Clean Massage w/ Potential

Greetings all!

I have been back in Singapore for a few months now after a very long absence overseas. Thanks to SBF and some of you bros out there I have certainly returned with a bang (quite a few actually, kekeke) and have had my share of adventures!

After much consideration, I have decided to start this new thread because it seems to me that what I'm looking for is not only very subjective, but very specific as well. This paradox of it being both subjective yet specific is precisely what makes my quest such a dilemma. Allow me to explain further:

I love and enjoy massage. Strictly professional massage. The kind you would get at a 5-star-rated spa in a luxury hotel. I prefer the shiatsu and swedish variety, but my favourite (only if it is performed correctly and skillfully) is Lomi Lomi, which originates from Hawaii. Primarily, I use massage for relaxation and therapeutic purposes, to de-stress and relax from a long week/month at work, nothing more. In the country where I lived, the legal practice of massage is governed by a regulatory body at the state or province level. Massage therapists, both male and female, have to undergo around 2000 hours (yes, two thousand!) of practical training in order to be a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Of course, many un-registered therapists exist, and you need not go very far to find the same type of services that one would find at most of the TNs or all of the HCs in Singapore. Some corporate healthcare programs overseas even cover massage therapy to a certain amount per year so one can claim and be reinbursed for such sessions. Of course you must provide a receipt and you must see an RMT in order to be reimbursed. I realise and accept that no such regulatory body (nor such stringent guidelines on the practice of massage) exists in Singapore.

So, imagine this. On one end of the spectrum you have the type of massage I've desribed above. This of course comes with 5-star prices and strictly no hanky-panky. On the other end of the spectrum you have the HC, which is essentially like going to a GL cat150 house with some facilities like a jacuzzi or sauna, some refreshments and a sandwich or two, plus some perfunctory "massage" thrown in.

What I'm looking for is somewhere in between these 2 extremes. Again, as I have said: Primarily, I use massage for relaxation and therapeutic purposes, to de-stress and relax from a long week/month at work, nothing more... but sometimes, and only sometimes, I would like to combine the above with a release. This may be achieved through a HJ, a BJ or and FJ, maybe all 3, it doesnt matter. This 'release' only happens when ALL 3 following situations are in place:

1) There is a connection or 'feeling' with the masseuse, some amount of mutual attraction has to exist between both parties,

2) The masseuse is open to offering this little 'extra', whether she is motivated by financial or emotional gains or both is of no consequence,

3) I feel like it.

Confused yet? Those of you who have read my FRs surely can empathize that this is indeed a difficult quest. It is also hard to go by a fellow samster's FR because this is so subjective as well - attraction and beauty. The following is what I always put in my FRs:


My requirements for a TN/massage session are very simple -

1) First and foremost, service must be professional, quality of massage/TN must be good, everything else is secondary. If there is 'feeling' and a connection with the masseuse and thus a desire to explore other possible 'options' then... this is to be determined towards the END of the session, towards the END of the allotted/requested time, OR upon subsequent visits as desired.

2) TN provider must at least be attractive to me, but of course looks are subjective. Without this there obviously won't be a connection. As they say, "One man's meat is another man's poison".

I am sure some of you bros share a similar, if not the same approach. I just get frustrated or annoyed when... (and I'm sure this happens often) you visit a TN shop, you pick a nice girl, but her massage skills are zero to non-existant. Then 5 mins into the session she asks you what "option" you want. Before you flame me, I'll just say that I understand some cheongsters go to a TN shop for the BJ/FJ as the primary objective - that is completely your perogative and I have no problem with that. But for me its different - I want a GOOD massage as the primary objective, anything else that happens is just... a "bonus".


So, to conclude, brothers out there who are bothered to read this long post and identify with what I'm looking for, I would be pleased to hear from you if you would like to share your stories. Check out Spa by the River, 71B Boat Quay, tel: 65322395 and request for Anne. She's not a SYT, but she definitely gives you a value-for-money massage and body scrub (if their promotion is still on-going). And she will ask if you intend to have a jua gen ($50 extra charge) at the end of the session and if you choose to release, it's an additional $10. Decide that she's not your cup of tea and dispense with the extra services, than just decline and she'll still finish the massage properly without complaints. It's a legit joint anyway

HI bro, u can try also SPA LIFE @ Yio Chu Kang Rd. I always go for a gd rub. $62 /1.5 hrs thai massage. They have shiatsu, swedish and chinese tuina. But the tuina here is more expensive than normal massage. They have Steam rm, jacuuzi pool. So far the massage there was quite gd to me. They hv facial too. And they also provide couples room. Hope this infos helps.

*sigh* Bro sg_boytoy I know... I found out the hard way... LOL. Now you know why I started this thread... hehe I have to say I'm overall disappointed in the TN scene - decent rubs are truly hard to find... because the focus is NOT on the rub. Not to say I don't want to "play", but if thats the case, save the lousy rub, I might as well go GL, right?

Check out Scents Spa at Chinatown. You won't be disappointed. Be prepared to pay a premium for the massage though as its real stuff.

Bro iluvbabes, that is the problem - Once criteria of chio-ness is there, more often than not they don't know how to do a "good proper massage".
