CHINA - A woman burned her husband's mistress to death before consuming poison and stabbing herself with a knife in China's Kunming city, reported Nanyang Siang Pau.
According to recordings from street surveillance cameras, the 40-something woman, identified only as Shi, trailed the other woman to a coffee shop where both of them ended up fighting last Saturday.
After burning the victim, who was in her 30s, Shi swallowed weedkiller and stabbed herself a few times with a knife.
Police said Shi, who once worked as a kitchen helper, has been hospitalised and is fighting for her life.
It was learnt that Shi was kicked out of her home after the mistress moved in and changed the locks.
