SYT who fails to pay rent

I have a friend who has been renting out a room in his home for the past five years. Well, tenants cum and go and he had a few bad experiences where tenants did not pay the rent, citing financial difficulties etc.

A few months ago, he rented out a room to a young and pretty lady. After staying for a month, she asked him if she could put off paying the rent as she has some "financial trouble". My friend was kinda sceptical as this lady is a frequent party goer who has her own car. But having a soft spot for sweet young things, he agreed.

Guess what? She kept giving him excuses and now owes him three months' rent! I told him he should just cut his loses and evict her but he has been having some funny ideas. He's thinking of demanding sex from her in lieu of the rent. What do you guys think? Should he do it? Has any bro ever received sex in place of money from their tenants?

Ah.......the hard choices we face in life.....while working ladies are readily available, the 'low-hanging' forbidden fruits just look so much more delicious, don't they?

I would say...if all these were happening in another country....hmm....

Barter trade no longer exist. If your friend ask for sex in exchange of the unpaid rent, he will be at the mercy of the gal. The gal will hold the upper hand as she can threaten to expose the sex encounter as a rape and he will forever be under her control. In the end he may end up in jail and losing his flat too, just bcos of a few minutes of pleasure. Just to to Geylang lah.

Forgot to mention, a friend of mine also leased a room to one chio bu....he is now on first base with her...but he is serious about her. Quite different scenario....

You can see from her behaviour when she said that she cannot pay rent at the first time.

If she got no intention to paid with sex intially, forget about it after 3 months.

Just ask her to leave the house.
See what is her response.

BTW, please collect 1 month deposit first and also pay rent before stay.

Men r still men, if the tenant is a guy will your friend still let him stay for mths without paying?? Now this is a lovely lady, his mind is thinking wild.... simple solution for him, give this lady a final warning, else ask her to f off. Y give himself headache?

Interesting proposition although it is always not advisable mixing business with pleasure. For example, if he fucked her twice, then one fuck = 1.5 months of rent. That could be an expensive fuck. What if she enjoys the fucks and then continues to stay for free rent and fucks? Now he ended up with an unplanned quasi-mistress. Of course the worse case would be some very unpleasant situation, though remotely possible.
