In singapore, transport fares will only go up

When the MRTs started to breakdown, they said they needed to raise fares becase of "higher fuel costs". Now that breakdowns have increased and fuel costs down, they're telling us fare hikes are necessary because Singaporeans are "earning more". The Public Transport Council will always find excuses to raise fares. All this while, transport companies have been making obscene profits while pocketing taxpayers' money.
