According to Shin Min Daily News, the incident occured after bar dispute. One man suffered throat injury and had blood all over his face. Images of the fight's aftermath shows the road where the incident is believed to have taken place still covered with dried blood. Said a police spokesperson with regards to the incident: "Police received a call today at 2.30am requesting for assistance at Maude Road. Upon police arrival, it was established that a case of voluntarily causing grievous hurt had taken place at the said location. One man was conveyed conscious to Changi General Hospital."
