The Dutch company which transport operator SMRT joined hands with two weeks ago to provide automated shuttle services may be in financial difficulty.

But SMRT Services managing director Colin Lim said it was Frog that had financial difficulties and "2getthere was not part of it".

Following a restructuring, 2getthere was formed as an independent company in 2008, Mr Lim added. "Based on 2getthere's records, the company has been profitable," he said, adding that SMRT had conducted its due diligence.


i can't believe these words coming from a MD, typical jiak liao bee pap crony. it seems that GLCs like to do business with half broken companies. last time, Alstom transport also was in distress. the guys from LTA have to rush to meet the french to make sure that the ongoing projects for North East Line and Circle Line were not affected, that time, lky was still around. next time, if train breakdown, you will know why and who is responsible. spending ah kong's money is money well spent.:kma: luckily, i already sold all my smrt shares few years back...if not i will write something to boost these cronies' ego.:oIo:
