Re: bringing a prc in to sg
Bro Indignant,
U r right. Any foreigner with student pass has no problem. But pls be careful with those who only have 14days or others. Bcos ICA n Msia side will ask HELL lots of ? n some even demands $. So pls dont bother about those gals who ask u do that. Very troublesome n delays HELL lots of your own time. Unless u have plenty. Take care. |

You are partially correct. PRC student pass holders are issued multiple entry visa in-and-out of singapore within the validity. So they are allowed to return back to singapore, when travelling. But they are not allowed to enter into malaysian states without applying the malaysian entry visa from any of the appointed tour agencies in singapore. Visa is Required and their travel documents must have a period of validity of at least six months beyond the time of stay allowed in Malaysia. Even foreign spouse holding Blue Singapore NRIC are required to apply for a malaysia visa in order to enter into malaysia. Maybe you would like to enlighten us on how you do it w/o any malaysian visa.

Re: bringing a prc in to sg
The PRC student i knew had just arrived in Singapore 3 days ago, she used to work in KL (an accounting firm) for 3 years. she is here for her ACCA. from the look on her face, you can tell that she is 100% not a Fl(those CMI type), she just want to go JB for makan & shopping.

Re: bringing a prc in to sg
Go to any tour agency in people's park with her to apply for the visa, takes 3 working days costs $80 i think. Going out of singapore no problem. Entering Malaysia, customs may give you some problems but ultimately they just want money. I went there once and a custom officer there even gave me his number and ask me to contact him first for future visits to make the necessary arrangement. Coming back to Singapore, if she is on a social visit pass, singapore custom officer may ask some questions and depending on their mood, may give 14 days, 7 days or sometimes even 3 days. For student pass holder, should have no problems.
If got no time to apply for visa, can go through second link, the Malaysian customs there at do the visa on the spot. But like some bros say, if she is not your girlfriend and just someone you know from a ktv, not worth the effort. My two cents worth. |
