Many of Silicon Valley's largest technology employers dominate the list. Apple employees are at the very top, followed by Facebook workers at No. 2. Employees at Google Inc. parent Alphabet round out the top 3.
That Apple employees lead the list should come as little surprise. The Cupertino-based company recently beat third-quarter expectations and expects a blockbuster fourth quarter with the launch of the iPhone 8.
Notably, employees at Cisco Systems are not ranked among the top 10, although the company is Silicon Valley's third-largest technology employer. The typical Cisco worker generates $684,000 for the company, placing it at No. 13 among tech companies.
