Pay 1st or later ?

When engaging FL/KTV/TN

is it a rule to pay first or pay later ???

pay first in the FL's view will be safer and wont scare the customer run away w/o paying.

But in the customer view, pay first may result in poor service as the FL already receive the money. And any kind of GF Feeling is gone cos money already paid.

Pay later in the FL's view may have a chance of receiving tips if service is good.

Pay later in the customer's POV, he has a choice of giving more or less with regards to the service.

Or should pay half the amount agreed then the other half after the service ???
