It’s been 10 years...

“I’m going overseas to further my studies”, G broke the shocking news to me.

“Why must you leave me?” I was devastated and my tears turned on like a running water tap. He was my first love.

I can never forget that day, the pain and sorrow that he made me go through. I felt like ending my life.

I knew that it was just bullshit excuse from him. All the happy times we had shared together turned out to be nothing. But I was powerless, I couldn’t do anything.

Time passed and i continued on with life until last week... 10 years later...

Cass (my friend): J, someone’s checking you out! He’s been looking at you for quite a while already.

Placing the book on my hand down, I took a quick glance at the direction where Cass was looking.

J: Can’t really see his face clearly. Aiya, don’t care lah.

Standing up, I walked towards to the cashier to foot the bill.

“Tap tap”, someone’s fingers was on my left shoulder. I nudged the person’s fingers away and turned back.

Standing in front of me was a man - tall, tann and lean. My height barely reached his shoulders. I stared up, raising my brows in an annoyed expression.

It was G.

“Hello J, long time no see. I was wondering who’s that sexy lady from afar”, G tried to break the ice in a cheeky manner.

I was in my red low cut tight body hugging spaghetti, paired with a short black skirt with high heels. G’s roving eyes were on my clevage, enjoying the sights of overflowing boobs, not being able to keep his eyes to himself.

I noticed that he was checking me out, from head to toes and that made me feel uncomfortable.

“Er, hi”, I replied awkwardly, totally not amused by his cheekiness. After all, we didn’t end in a good note previously.

J: Sorry, got to go. bye.

G: Why so early? How about coffee another time?

J: Er... ok?

G passed me his phone, as an indication to key in my handphone number.
