Beware of michat or other platform chat scam

Would like to share this experience as I nearly gotten scam by michat scammer.
Pls dun flame or anything, jus sharing my experience...

This happen during COVID period I tink 2021, as u know so boring so started to hunt in michat , came across one lady posing as Malaysian, profile and pic look ok. After chatting for a while then found out she doing some stream ting but never raise any concern Abt it. Soon she ask to WhatsApp instead (1st red flag), without thinking much i

I kena Sotheby. Ask me key in for her bids. I say ok, we check in hotel then i help her key in the bids. Knn tink we dumb fuck meh.

Last 2 days kena a "fashion desinger" ask me help her key in data for some clothing stuff. Same i ask her go fuck then i help her do.

CCB too free come scam. nonscence.

So having exchange WhatsApp then started msg and suggested to video call, as the head not thinking clearly proceed with the call but I make sure the cam is flip to back cam. So the video proceed machiam like watching AV porn of PRC ( red flag), I immediately hang up and msg saying how come u say u Malaysian sounded like PRC. She didn't reply
At tat point in time I didn't know that there are software to stream video thru WS call so I didn't think much of it.

Fast forward few days I received a WS call from unknown number , I tink +62 then I didn't answer, follow by a video clip of my screen grab frm the previous VC.

I my mind I tink HK Liao and all the stuff flashing back in my mind.

Have been receiving call with +65 from MOH n ICA at least once weekly
Has anyone encounter same too

Everytime different number
Once I play along n F them ( PRC ) he immediately hang off n I call back again was a local auntie n said she never make the call
Guess scammer can edit the call number to appear in yr phone

Blocking no make any help as like sms u still received but store under scam folder with alert notice
At 1st I thou blocking mean the scammer can't disturb me but make no different

Bro...is VOIP call and can put any number you want...so they need to add +65...otherwise cannot show is Singapore number...

In Singapore and any sim registered locally when call will not show +65...but just show the 8 digits number...

best is just whatsapp and never phone phone call...or only answer when numbers popped up in your contact lists...:P

Saw the msg saying will post the video if I dun pay $ to them, at that moment I knew I almost fallen into scam, I quickly block the number and deactivate the WS. Luckily it's a spare sum which I never use.

Jus a advice when it's too good to b true, it really is.

Dun tink with small head. Hope all bros dun fall into the same scam/blackmail
