Haaretz reports on fierce fighting in the Hamad neighborhood in western Khan Yunis, known for its Qatari-built luxury apartments. "We have experienced combat here the likes of which we have not seen anywhere else in the Gaza Strip," said [Col. Omer] Cohen.
