“Later, in the room, Mr Ng found that he was missing 402 Singaporean Dollars. Mr Ng asked Ms Tanakorn if she had taken the money, but she denied having any knowledge of the money all at,” Lt Col Weerapong said.

“Ms Tanakorn and Mr Ng continued to argue over the missing amount, until hotel staff called the police in.”

The two were taken to Patong Police station for questioning.

“Ms Tanakorn kept denying stealing the money,” Col Weerapong said. “So, we decided to search them both.”

“It was at that point that Ms Tanakorn excused herself to go to the toilet. She was acting suspiciously, like she was trying to get something out of her underwear. A police officer told her to stop, but she quickly ran into the toilet and locked the door,” he added.

Police then broke down the door and found Ms Tanakorn holding 402 Singapore Dollars in cash in her hand.

Ms Tanakorn was charged with theft.

For Phuket Newbies - Bangla road on Patong beach is where most of the action is located. Bangla Road nightlife starts opening around 8pm... I started a little after that. I grabbed a few beers as i pre-gamed the road Highlights: Red Hot Club if you want some live western cover bands, Tiger Complex's beer is a bit expensive but a fair number of hot girls dancing from street view. Other street Gogos vary in quality but you can check them out from the street before going in.

Was a weekday which meant the girls were a bit more desperate and pushy to get you in the bars. (tip: If you dont wanna go into a bar avoid eye contact and walk with a purpose)

Patong-Tower vicinity.

After reading about patong-tower on ISG, I decided to book and stay here for 3 days on this trip.

The property is decent and about 5 minutes walk away to Bangla Road. There are a few restaurants (2 cheap and authentic places) right next to the tower. I recommend staying here. There's also a Hyatt place which was about the same price.

Zen Massage.

I made a short list of spots to hit after checking in. First up was Zen massage on the street continuing after Bangla away from the beach. The massage itself was great (450 THB for 90 minutes thai massage) but didn't get offered any extras. Also there was only 1 cute girl but with a female mustache which was almost showing (that freaked me out).

Katherine's.

I walked around a little and grabbed some streetfood (Padthai from a stand) and decided to go to Katherine's. For everyone worried about taxis, I recommend the app "Grab" for hailing a taxi. I used it 3 times yesterday and got an Innova and Toyota Fortuner SUVs. The price of the ride is displayed as soon as you request, so there are no surprises. All the drivers were quite polite as well and really nice cars.

I took the Grab taxi to Twin hotel which was right next to Katherine's since the massage joint itself was not showing in the search of Grab app. The cost of the taxi was 570 THB. On the walk back to the hotel, the street was relatively thinned out of FLs. Overall for a half day after a long flight to get there, Phuket was surprisingly easy to navigate to have a good time. I will continue the report tomorrow for day 2.

Actually i find phuket nothing much too exciting. Of course got money can do many things but soon you find bangkok is really the best place to enjoy those baht and fuck. Because phuket is an island so basically u be trap there for limited fuck choice and they like to carrot tourist. Let me share my no so normal itinerary.

Food wise is really paradise, seafood eat till u drop. Morning eat thai style dim sum. Shopping can forget it. I see some of u guys go there diving. Some like water n beaches also take time go phangna which is next to phuket.

Party place have 3 types. First type you can find at patong bangla side. For late night ONS or pick up can try illuzion. If u are free n easy n alone in phuket for many days 555 jialat, i highly recommend you to try use your charm to pick up a pretty girl for fuck the next few days and be your personal tour guide. 5555. If you can pick a true blue local phuket is best. If she have car also best. No car go rent one. With a car you can explore all parts of phuket and make your trip worth and go sight seeing.

Second type of party place is out of patong, towards phuket town area? Its more like a local chill chill, example is Sound Phuket. Just like if u go pattaya have differ club? Pickup of local girls for ONS is really really must see how much charm u have there liao hor 5555. Its considered as local thai turf already not same Illuzion.

By right, if u are staying in Thailand for more than 60 days, u need to convert to Thai license... but most foreigners go by left. Just be careful, insurance might not cover in case of mishap or whatever.

I have driven 400kms to Petchaboon (quite scenic, with rolling mountains before resort destination). And now regularly drive south west to Hua Hin, 230km. Enroute, many stop over at Ampawa (floating market on weekends) which is just 80km or an easy hour away. The Petchaburi stretch is straight enough.

Don't disagree on night driving, the big trucks are poorly lighted with some crazy drivers. And watch out for motorbikes (fond of going against traffic flow).

On return to Bkk, the Samut Sakhon stretch (city limits) is slippery even when not wet -risking accidents, so allow for space from vehicles in front of you. And the heavy traffic build up tells you are approaching Bkk.

Taxi in Phuket is not cheap, even the tuks2 hanging about Patong can be a rip off. Hire a car, can easily do island wide. And can cover that commute to/fro airport (easily thb700-800 1 way depending on your digs).

Very sure you will have no problems finding it in Patong. But just in case ,try walking around 300m from Jungceylon (the shopping centre) towards Hard Rock Cafe. For easy reference, if you are facing the beach,its on the left. You will find plenty of shops that offers massage. In every Phuket trip, I have a meal in PS restaurant, which is very close to the end of soi Bangla and steps from Tai Pan disco. Above average in the quality with good mix of Thai and Western dishes. It is rather crowded due to excellent location and decent reputation.

For view and relaxation, Kae Eng overlooking Chalong Bay is my favorite. This place is very big, very spacious and far from Patong. Food is just average relative the upper-middle price scale.

Not sure where to get cheap food in Phuket except Phuket Town, and taxi alone is 1K + Baht to get there.

Have been to both of the House69, formerly named No. 6 restaurant. Agree with you the one up the hill is preferred.

For me the only thing that can make me visit Bangkok once in a while is still the Tier 1 G-Clubs.
The entertainment is totally unique.
For arp nam the best is still China Saunas.
Although now extinct in China but revived in Cambodia! :D

Been taking it easy these days and leisure travel extensively.
No longer sharing cheong places since few years ago as too many self entitled jokers and market spoilers that eventually wreck the scene.

Don't know what happened to naemlo also.
Maybe protesting in Hong Kong every weekend 555! :p
