Well, perhaps you may try providing more details of what activities you are looking for and also where you are staying then perhaps some bros may just give you a pointer. Please understand Shanghai is not Singapore, not every place is a stone throw distance away. Pudong and Puxi may be a river apart but it goes a long way. :cool:

U can try this budget hotel, Greentree Inn (www.greentree.com.cn) which they offer rooms of very decent cleanliness, and very economical rates at RMB 289 (SGD$60 per night). Also, this hotel is 'gals friendly' which one can bring gal back to his room without being questioned by any hotel staffs or the police should you be worried about.
Book for the Greentreen Inn branch located on Wuding rd, junction of Xi Kang rd, which is a mere 10-15mins walk to the Exhibition Hall on Nanjing Xi rd / YanAn rd u mentioned.

With regards to 'fun' HC around vcinity, u can walk towards North direction, located on ChangPIng rd, junction of Jiao Zhou rd where there's a HC which offers "bath u in the shower with gal + full FJ /BJ service"............cost at RMB 750 net incl food+drinks.

After reading the few last pages of this thread I got the message that courting girls/freelancers are not that advisable, especially one has language problem (I am from Indonesia and my Mandarin is just "so so". Sorry to trouble you but that is all I know. It is a small alley in the Puxi area mostly residental. My last trip there did not see any interesting place for cheonging around the area.

Why do you wanna waste time to xian MMs when choices are aplenty? Why get stuck to one and only especially when you have only 180 days? On top of that, what is your spending power to keep patronizing her and xian her to you will? Secondly MMs in HCs and KTVs are battle harden veterans compare to you, unless you can maintain her and tolerate her working hours, what makes you think you have the chance to bonk her as and when you can? As for HC gals, you think they will service you the same way in HCs? I seriously doubt so. And honestly, the few days you get her is when her Auntie is visiting. And trust me it is more tiring then getting a GF.

The best bet is to get a stable GF there, move in with you and take care of you, lay your terms and conditions and stick it, you will not want unnecessary burden to drag you down.:cool:

it is better to stay in pudong if u need to go to expo every morning. the traffic in sh is getting worst now. u can go to puxi at nite when the traffic is relatively ok. suggest u stay nearby 八百伴 area (eg marriott courtyard, 宝安，明城，紫金山 etc) where u can still find some activities nearby. (eg 名庭会所 sauna, 夜明珠 KTV etc all within walking distance）

u can still live in puxi if u dont mind long hour trip to expo (and higher taxi fare, ~rmb70). There are more happening at the west of puxi eg 长宁区，普陀区，徐汇区 etc. Most sauna and KTV are located here. KTV eg 天上人间，帝豪，金色大帝，水晶宫，紫禁宫 ,金色阳光 etc. sauna eg 吉原，香蜜湖，港鸿会所, 汤田, 蒂花园 etc.

I was in Shanghai in Jan 08 and I tried out their Body massage and KTV lounges.
The Body massage place is at Wu Zhong Lu ( a bit like Geylang area). Very posh building, better than Poseidon at Bangkok. Also tried out 2 KTV lounges and ta bao overnight.

This KTV is an inexpensive, no frills type joint. The rates for the MMs are 2/8/10 and Mummy 2. The MMs are mostly 5/6 with a few 7s. They are fun and playful and
the older ones will let your hands autoroam after a few drinks. We did a lot of dirty dancing. The bill for a party of 5 guys came to about 500 RMB incl. room, drinks and fruits. Some MMs are available for going out.

Two nights later we went back with a party of 7 guys and spent less than 1k on room, drinks and fruits. The MMs had so much fun they want to follow some of the guys back.

This place is popular and reservation for room is recommended.

This KTV is double the rates of the 1st one at 4/15/20 for MMs, 4 for Mummy and 2 for the female karaoke operator. We were given a discount of 50% on the list price for drinks as my friend had patronized the place previously. There is a minimum spending of RMB 640 on drinks and food (i.e. 50% of 1280) plus a room charge of RMB 500. Without the discount, the prices on the menu appear to be double that of other KTVs.

I rate the MMs mostly as 6/7.The distinctive feature of this KTV is that it offers an additional 2 types of services/games. Half way thru the evening, all the MMs in the room will perform erotic and lap dance together for about 20 minutes. Each of them will take turn to gyrate on your lap wearing a loose blouse and braless. They also play erotic games with you such as blindfold you and ask you to identify your own partner using your hands only. A selected MM will also be blindfolded and asked to identify her partner by caressing all the guys.

The place is a bit rundown. The door creaks and the sound/video system seems outdated.

I wont go back to this place now that I have seen the erotic dance.

- Hilton Hotel on Hua Shan rd, junction of Yan An rd, (5 stars)
- Equatorial Hotel, located on Yan An, junction of Hua Shan, (4 stars)
- Yan An Hotel on Yan An rd, junction of Fu Min rd. (4 stars)

The above choices are well within walking distance to Jingan Metro subway Line 2 which you can take directly to the Shanghai Expo Center in Pudong within 30mins ride. Also, the mentioned hotels choices vicinity are filled with F&B outlets, bars (Tongren Rd).

Just finished a 90+ minute session with her so this is an almost LIVE report.

Was in SHG for a week with mainly work and was determined to make something out of it during my last night here. Despite hunting around for HC's (I'm alone so KTV is out) with limited chinese, it was a no-go in the area I stay so I decided to give the number a try.

She arrived around 50 minutes after calling and my first impression was...errr....so so.

Step 1: usual bath and such... lay out the towel on the bed.. and asked if I liked it slow or more fancy. I opted for fancy :P

Step 2: Starts with a fire/ice treatment on my back which was good but not as good as the "SOAP" (ala JAV style) with her 37C's and later her behind.

Step 3: BBJ + fire/ice..a 7 on the ooomph scale. No CIM which was a bit of a dissappointment but I still blew it but she offered a second shot which was great. 69 was ok too.

Step 4: FJ with cover (wouldn't want it any other way)

Step 5: FJ on them 37Cs which I blew my 2nd load on

Step 6: Thorough clensing again.

Step 7: Chatted a bit and since I was bloody tired, she gave me a pretty ok massage.

Step 8: She was in no hurry so we chatted a bit again + she said it's ok for the lost watch. It only cost RMB100.

Conclusion:
A definate recommend. No rush no hurry.. like earlier reported..very touch GF feel. Very convenient especially if your hotel is located in the middle of nowhere like mine.

This KTV is an inexpensive, no frills type joint. The rates for the MMs are 2/8/10 and Mummy 2. The MMs are mostly 5/6 with a few 7s. They are fun and playful and
the older ones will let your hands autoroam after a few drinks. We did a lot of dirty dancing. The bill for a party of 5 guys came to about 500 RMB incl. room, drinks and fruits. Some MMs are available for going out.

Two nights later we went back with a party of 7 guys and spent less than 1k on room, drinks and fruits. The MMs had so much fun they want to follow some of the guys back.

This place is popular and reservation for room is recommended.




Went to this place was fun and cheap. A bit far as it's located in Hongqiao. FR is spot on from our bro. Don't come here expecting supermodels and you'll be fine.

Things seem rosy here. But, recent market crashed has caused a big stir. Those who bought 2-3 apartments last 2years, thinking property industry will boom till 2010, due to opening of casinos, are now suffering. Property drop 10-20% almost overnight. Now, property is cooling down. Sg a, another wave of recession should be in 2010 or 2011, about 12 years 1 circle.

Was saying, as long as we continue to be employed at this package beyond this year, just hold back on jumping into the markets, save the bullets now. Maybe end of this year or early next year then jump into the equities & property markets.

We don't know when is the lowest point, but it's better to go in a while after the downturn. We might not catch the rock bottom price, but, at least go in at a significantly lower price. Then enjoy better gains when the economy recovers / boom again few years later!

Are you sure you tried? There are many recommendation for Shanghai just for the pass few pages. Anyway the "die die" must go place in Shanghai is "The Bund" and the "Dong Fang Ming Zhu" since you did not mention what kind of place you are talking about. :rolleyes:

Just came back from a shanghai short trip. Thanks to bro SGPshanghai for recommanding jolin.

I did feel comfortable and immediately sensed something not right. So I didn't try to be hero or gentleman, and I said I didn't want to go inside and took the lift down.

However after walking to almost the end of the street, maybe I looked very chee hong or handsome (most likely not), I was approached by another lady asking to befriend me. Now this lady was from nanjing.

Just to share a little bit more, few years back my friend with an angmoh, were approached at Hengshan Road, brought to KTV ended up asked to pay rmb6k+ for a beer and a coffee that they took. The mm took special cocktail at rmb500 per glass. Anyway, they were lucky to be able to call 110 for the police and they simply walked off paying 0 cents.

At 1st, we wanted to report to the police after he was "released" and I found him. The police wanted to take us to the station to lodge an official report. Along the way, my friend felt the time taken for the process would take too much time & decided against the report.

Several of such con-shops were raided (by both black & white streams) & closed by police in recent 2 - 3 years. But, if done by police, they can easily pop-up again very quickly.
