Customers are given a locker and you'll keep your valuables and changed into their "clothes". Not wanting to use the facilities, told the captain I wanna go straight up. Was led to the lift and brought to the 4th floor and ushered into a "Viewing" room. A waist-high glass window separated me and a line-up of around 20+ girls. That place is discreet and the fact the place is behind a building make it hard to spot from the road. To go there, you need to be on the 'slow' lane to make the turn to the building. The place is badly lit as you said. It has been a year since I went to that place to accompany a friend.

Went to 好地方足道 at 保定路. It's at Dalian Road Station and Kunming Road intersection. Very near the train station.

Overall, from the rumours here and comment there, it seems like all the activites has stop for the time being. Girls have gone to somewhere outside Shanghai or just providing decent services in order not to risk being caught.
The best is to call up but most will not tell you too clearly. You got to go down there and ask personnaly.

I got a China Mobile one, with a monthly fees of RMB16, so per call is cheaper. U can get top-ups also from street stores.......look out for their Sign Board! Top-ups validity period can last up to 1 year (depending on the amount).

Can also PM too to la kopi and bring me around, I am a Sotong in SH. Leaving SH next Tuesday, but will be back after the National Day holidays. Have already book a date with someone to tour Hangzhou together during my free time when I am back in October! Heard the Hangzhou is beri beautiful!

This is a what-not-to-do post for bros who never been to shanghai before and dont have much time to roam around... Firstly if you have any say as to where you stay, dont go to the hi end ones like hyatt around pudong area especially if you dont have too much alone time.

Spent only 3 days there, as I was with my bosses all females, and no they are old... didnt get much alone time...

First I walked around and say this spa... it's called Garden 88... went up asked for the price for massage and got quoted 100+ for facilities 700+ for massage add up close to 800RMB... Too ex liow lah... But I was desparate man... asked the counter gal if there are any other service aside from massage cause it's so ex. she said NO. No idea if there's anything extra, just too ex to try...

Second day, went to another one called Green Massage.... price tag was lower but still ex... 370+rmb for 1.5hrs there about... Totally clean... serviced by a looks 4.5 gal but I was desperate... sweet talk and hint hint also dont have... sigh...

Now Back in Singapore... mission is to release pent up frustrations in the next 2 days... Irony... Go china cant get PRCs got to come back and get... sigh...

I am re-tracing DTCEPL's instruction, it would only be logical that the 25m is actually the distance cutting in from ZhangYangLu. As to exactly where to cut in from, then based on his instructions would be anywhere between Merrilyn and BaiNaoHui.

Merrilyn is at the junction anyway, opposite to Interconn, turn left at the main door and you will be heading towards BaiHaoHui.

U are right Bro, thanks for the clarifications. U can easily see the SPA sign from Zhang yang lu. But there are maybe 2 to 3 SPAs in the same building, I went to the one on the far left (meaning closer to Merrylin side). I think there is a building (Stock Broking House) after Bai Nao Hui, then walk in 25m through some parking space.....then is the SPA building.

FYI, Hotel Merrylin in also got a SPA on the 3rd level (went there twice before I found a cheaper joint beside it), but more costly (I think no specials for the time being). I think the World Expo have turn all the SPAs/Suana into clean massage joints (fo the time being).

Anyway, I can go to wherever you guys go... Actually for value, XianXiaLu TianShangRenJian is good. Tip is Rmb 300 (with some gems) and MaCallen 12 yrs only sold for Rmb 1200. Unfortunately, they closed for the time being but we never know.. it might open after the National Day.

Many thanks Bro for your kind information, just called China Mobile awhile ago, no used topping up any value. The SIM card must be used for at least 3 months before they can consider activating the International Auto-Roaming services. This is what they said!

- just buy any SIM card off the street. To roam, u must register with ur passport.

- call 10086 to check. Like i said, u must go to counter to register with passport.

- normal card covers autoroam, but it will probably not be enuf. After u register, to activate roaming, u must hv min RMB600 credit in the card. Each activation only allows u to roam 30 days.

There is a sauna place that stays open for years in MinHang district. It is called South Sauna (南方桑拿会所). It is at the back of Nan Fang Shang Cheng (南方商城). The detailed address is: 闵行区沪闵路7580弄111支弄36号(近莲花路地铁站).

You can check its location on google map.

The ground floor of the place looks like a deserted place. You need to go to the 1st floor via the stair. There are 4-5 waiter waiting at the entrance on the 1st floor. This place is quite safe, it was there since 2005. I sent a client to there and saw 7-8 people entering for fun 3 weeks ago. There is no sign of Yan Da.

The price range is 700-800. You'd better have a good command to Mandarin.

hmm....japanese KTV's shouldn't have MM and waitress tips...the system is actually 300 for the gal and 250-300 for you as customer (i heard it will be increased to 350 after october in most jap clubs)...also, in jap KTV you don't have a room charge, even if you buy a cheap bottle of chivas (costs 700 - 800, not recommended btw, terrible fake...better choose a bottle priced around 1000 )

sometimes, those clubs have promotion too, went lately to Neruton, everything half price, even the gal's tipp...haha

something about the quality first:
number of girls in jap club is less than in chinese KTV (big jap KTV have around 250 gals); they might not be that stunning as in some chinese joints but they are more kind (means they easily willing spend time with you even during daytime, free of charge, i.e. visting some places or whatever)...so, rather like girlfriend feeling

no worries, still enough cuties in jap joints...but you need to go early around 8pm (after 9pm, all rooms are and good girls are gone; those gals coming later have either appointment or they are coming from dinner with customer)

Regarding room...there are 3 types of jap joints

KTV (like Crystal, Romance, Neruton, Enmusubi in Weining Lu) have rooms - girsl tipp 300, your sitting fee 250

if you plan your after KTV activities rather back home or in the hotel, you can choose either girls which are willing to go back (for a fee) or you play your "charme" and she might go back (with or without charge). The latter one i tried with mixed experience, in some cases it took me 1 or several visits until they girl went back with me, in some cases it never happened (perhaps i need to improve my charme). Some figures for the cakes (i heard that from a jap friend who knows teh enmusubi owner):
Enmusubi has around 250 gals; 50 gals confirmed go back, 100 are hidden cakes (depends a bit on how you play); 100 don't go back (most of them have a "boyfriend", would say sugar daddy, anyways)

If you go for the first option, the charge should be still around 1000-1200 RMB for ON, according to my ex-GF, she worked before in a Jap club.

It's all in Hongqiao since there is the highest density of those clubs
