Went to Dream Heaven Massage last nite at around 10pm after meeting with client.

Meeting place was in JW Marriot, thought could walk all the way to Sukhumvit 33 where Dream Heaven is. BIG MISTAKE. End up taking a taxi there. By then, legs like jelly. Reminds us of our BMT days when we did our 24 km march.

Dream Heaven is along Sukhumvit 33 on the same side as Lotus Novotel Hotel.

I went there as i wanted to try couple of unknown palours and see where girls' skill stand and also must support those who are service oriented (emailed Dream Heaven with many FUNNY questions upon arrival at BKK yesterday morning and they replied within an hour).

Decided to try Orient Massage tonite at around 9pm after meeting with client.

Orient is along Sukhumvit 24 (near main road) next to a 7-11.

Orient seems to be service oriented as i had a few email correspondence with Orient yesterday and today. When i went there tonite, i found out the reason.

Will be arriving in Bkk with another buddy around mid Nov but flight schedule to arrive at 3:30pm, if flight on time then after getting luggage and going through immigration/custom , should be around 4:30pm or start of rush hr traffic right, traffic is usually bad in BKK but I think it might be worse starting at this time:confused: Planning to book a hotel near the Huay Khwang MRT area.

Should the 2 of us take a taxi at this time anyway(rush hr) or take the new Airport train to Makk. station and transfer to the MRT at Petchur. station. Not sure if the airport train station had finish linking with the MRT yet.
For the 2 of us the total cost should add up to about the same either way.

Airport train fare for 2 costs thb300, which probably covers fare (add thb75 for toll?) to Ratchada door step. Minus hassle of connect MRT (not seamless) with luggage. Even cabs at Makassan station are quiet rare. One evening arrival at 830pm, I had to wait for security to call one up (thank goodness, 1 came up with departing passengers).

Airport train is ok when you solo, travel light. Commute is easily under 20mins.

tTake a taxi and pay toll, you should be fine. Traffic is usually bearable from airport but if really bad jam, just relax and you'll still get there sweat-free. Bkk cabbies are good and know their way round the difficult routes.

Talking abt cab... Got into a van with a rigged meter in the airport a couple of days back. Meter jumped so far until I lost count. A usual trip from airport to suk will cost at most 400 with toll. Bloody meter ended up 650 and 50 for airport charge. Knew something not right when got into cab and he volunteered to explain to me that he using meter and then took my taxi chit away. Anyway, I paid up once i got out of he cab but told him that I wanted the chit back. He asked why and I told him u know why, pointing to the meter. Told him I am going to call and complain. He quickly said sorry and returned me 200bht. Told him still too much and he gave another 100bh bk. Kns... Think I first time go bkk.

Nothing much to report for this trip though my gal actually took a bus from chiangrai to meet me after I called her when I was in bkk to wish her happy birthday. Had wanted to give her a surprise but did not know she was bk in chiangrqi after quitting the scene. By the time she came, I was left with one night as I was there for only two. But had one he'll of a time. Think this is the best gfe I ever got. Anyway was really surprised she came as it was a full 12 hr bus ride. Taking taxi from airport only cost about 300b (inclusive of highway 75b). If clear customer 430pm should be able to avoid traffic jam before 5pm cos can get with central area within 30min cos airport to city only less than 30km nia nia. If you meet road traffic jam, you will also meet human traffic jam when you changeover city MRT with tonnes of office workers at Asoke and SC cheongsters starting out the night etc. Also if delay by traffic jam maybe another 30min to 1hr extra only and still early for cheong nite away so better option is take taxi.
Comfortable, relaxiing get you started on your 1st day fresher and with more energy to cheong :D

Start going back to BKK early this year after 1-2 yrs absence.
The Lords was new place did not see before. Was impressed by decor/ambience but not impressed with the gals. Mirage change into something else. Copacabana (behind Poseidon ) almost dead.
That huge MP building (near Emerald Hotel) that was supposed to be Nataree 2 or something is now a heaven for food stalls and motorbike/carparks. There was some problem with licence or permit few years ago so never opened.
Could not find First Class KTV anymore. There used to be small coyote KTV (forgot name) before Subway/Hi Class and don't see it anymore.
Don't see Cha Cha Club anymore. Looked for favorite beer barrel disco, Pump Up of years ago which of cos has long closed down. Also looked for Pow Kung Pao but cannot find leh. Also Coliseum club closed down. :(
Now have quite a few late closing discos like Shock 39, Insomnia, Climax (formerly Spice), Spicy, Mixx. Nana Angels disco renovated and now called Nana Liquid. Scratchdog and Titanium still around after all these years.
More and more condos/ office buildings coming up in Sukhumvit area. Sukhumvit soi 1 bars plaza now no more. Just hope they don't chase away or move NEP and SC to another place. NEP and SC remain more or less same - 3rd floor NEP have new Billboard, Las Vegas. Carnival no more happening. Famous burger stall still there. SC have new live band bar called The Corner (closes late 4 -5 am) opposite Country Road. More nudity now at NEP than before that it is becoming like SC. :D

... when you say that area flooded , the FIRST THING in my imagination was I come down out of Poseidon and then step out the glass door (actually can see from inside the door :p ) that the steps go down into a "swimming pool" ... my only thinking of that place is for the MP so not thinking about the condos there at all !

Just came back from BKK a few days ago..

Well lucky it wasnt raining at all the past 3 days I was there and it only rained when I am nearing back to hotel to sleep / going back home towards airport.

Went to Patpon to shop at first.. was tugged by alot of those hardsell ass who prompts to go watch those pussy show.. at first didnt want.. but small gave in.. saw so many a-gogo bars should have went in :/.. so that hardsell fella brought us up to the 2nd level where there's those pussy show.. damn I tell you those are really old fugly ladies ..before entering was agreed upon certain amount of baht.. but as usual knowing it would be jacked up but didnt know it was that high..

3 people went.. was told to pay the bill of 5000baht while staying there not more than 5min and drank a bottle of saigon beer each.

Tried our way to fight back and disagree but the bar owner simply come out with their bouncers trying to bash us up. Lan lan suck thumb.. paid up 2000baht in total despite the 5000baht very very unwillingly.

First day trip was a killjoy.. Never expected to be reaped so much ..I am quite curious how do you guys get out of such fix?

Everybody was very unwilling to go to such joint after being scammed but still small head very itchy :D .. went to Soi Cowboy..

At least here's a better decent place as compared to Patpon I feel .. Went to one of the A-gogo bars which I believe it's pretty far at the back with waitress and coyotes in Black.

Went in and atmosphere was good.. girls there are pretty as well.. very little fatties but quite a number of "Aeroplanes' ..

Found one girl who looks damn good and damn model like.. Figure was good boobs was good though she disclaimer before hand it was fake without my buddies and me asking. Very polite and talkative and best part her features everything is perfect!

Price quoted for take away was only this:
2000baht + 600baht (Bar Fine) + LD (160baht)

If there's no first day happening I believe the whole trip would be perfect as well :P
