Thought I could give an update to the pricing under the new mgt, GRO told me they are quite strict on the use of discount voucher so its 420k for cheapest executive package for first timers (no voucher). They will upsell a 470k package but can just ask for the 420k instead. I think there's an option for 2 shots at about 500k though

Good info indeed. I cant add it on these piece of info the link, but i can keep it and add it in the newer compilation on a later time. Old pricing and new pricing variance usually wont be too far apart anyway. So the current information is still enough for any new guy,hehehe...

Hotel guests get about 15% off, and vouchers can only be used from 2nd visit onwards.

Nothing much changed for the facilities, but sadly the condition of the hot pool not as good as a year back

About the hot pool, if you are reading this, mind if i ask, did you go Octopuss in the morning when the hot wasnt good? The last time i was there, its morning time, the pool wasnt hot enough (like the hotel room,standing shower hot water) as compare to the same month i visited New Spa.

Find one day will need to visit Octopuss to get a real feel of what changes.

Sport Massage that I tried was diagonally opposite Hotel Harmoni. Attended by syt (but with good strength). Place / atmosphere was kinda similar to Aiko. If asked to choose, reckon I likely to repeat Aiko (sucker for back stepping).

Same here. I have tried the Sport Massage branch which you have went to before. And i couldnt understand why i preferred Aiko than Sports Massage which i kept returning to,hehehe... I think most probably is becos Sports Massage is a little more crowded hence the assorted noise level (from their guest/s) is higher than Aiko's. Could be partly becos of its location too. Next trip (or perhaps later trip/s), i might go try Sport Massage again. I wish to find out why i am preferring Aiko. Hmm...have i said this before? Around 5 to 10 mins from the Aiko at A2 Food Court. I am also eye-ing on that shop too. :p

Looks like October and November time should be the best time to pile up those orange tickets. I bought mine at 375k rupiah opposite BCS and inside Grand Batam Mall and with a roughly exchange rate of around 10200/SGD, price is about S$36.77,hehehe... :p

I definitely wont buy the coupon that expires on Nov 2020 becos there is ONLY one person that sells that (looks fishy to me). Others were all still selling Nov 2019 coupons. Dont wish to take such risk to get rejected by Horizon Ferry counter during December 2019. If 2020 coupons are valid in the market, my friends and relatives would probably send me some in about 1.5 week's time. So currently, since i already got enough coupons, i would rather wait.

I also knows how to rub away old expiry date and chop a new one on the coupon too. :D

Hi bro, you can only bring into Indonesia, foreign banknotes not exceeding 100 million rupiah (thats about S$10k). If you wish to bring more, then will need to declare, or might risk having the money confiscated by the immigration custom officer/s.

If you are completely new to Batam, bring about S$300 per night stay but no need to change all into rupiah as yet untill you need them. I said that becos you probably didnt know what you will be looking at as yet. As in...

Eat : eat what, eat where and what kind of food. Bird's Nest? Abalone?

Sex : Sex from where? KTV? Massage shops? Overnight booking joint or hunting for ONS? Or have multiple girls filling up your hotel bed room? Hehehe...

Shopping : Depending on what you wish to buy? (i go Batam buy apartment, S$10k wouldnt be enough,hehehe...sorry,joking here)

So when i say bring S$300 a night stay to Batam, i do not include hotel room and Ferry ticket, and it should sufficiently covers you massage at the 4th floor King Massage, Alishan KTV, eating inside hotel room and walking over to JV Happy 8 and/or to the booking joints around Utama area (Area A) and a few drinks at Kampong Bule's pubs behind Harmoni Hotel (about 10 mins slow walk from Formosa Hotel).

Once you know what you are looking for in Batam as well as what Batam can brings you. The S$300 amount could either be reduced or increased on your next trip.

So if to go famosa I book ferry stop at which ferry terminal in batam.

It is more like behind the shops that are opposite Lucky Plaza. But i do not recommend you to waste time to look for it (since you only have about 2 hours by now).

The hotel location should be pretty good, opposite is Grand Batam Mall, and behind is BCS Mall. If there is a chance, may go give a a try...but not when it just started,hehehe...Batam's new hotel when they just started got a lot of "fails" in terms of manpower and service level.

This coming 2020, i will be in Batam a week or 2 before the actual CNY 2020 itself becos parents/relatives show their wishes to shop in Batam after our last trip during Sept 2019,hehehe...

There are a handful of tour agents in the market (SG) now advertising for Batam CNY 2020 trips, hence i assume its going to be crowded. But as for competition on "girls" in Batam, i highly doubt it would cause much changes, as most who are there during the 1st 1 or 2 weeks before CNY 2020 would be uncles and aunties.

Do however note that most time, overnight booking increases their price about a week or so before the actual CNY day. Kind of sure there would be a slight increase everywhere else and on the day of CNY itself, and a few days after it...it would most likely be at a full blown increase in price. Happens every CNY,hehehe... :D

Montigo Resort in Batam is more suitable for a sex party than to have 1 man and 1 girl bonking around the pool,hehehe...its a very BIG place. What you need probably isnt Montigo Resort but more of Woda Resort instead (clue : you can order massage session to your room). They also have a in-room pool too, just smaller. You will need to buy a lot of necessities, e. tit bits, fruits etc to enjoy yourself there as there are practically no mini mart in that area (there are practically nothing in that area).

The only bad about Woda Resort is that it isnt 100% private, as in your neighbouring room could actually peek at you from their room's private pool,hehehe...:D

Just came back from a trip recently. Got a horizon ferry e-ticket from online shop and proceed for boarding. No return slip will be given, just show your passport at harbourbay horizon counter for boarding pass.

Once reached batam took a taxi to my hotel. After checking room condition ordered Gofood Nasi ayam geprek + fried eggs + teh 0 peng for 37k. It was spicy but shiok. I got my cewek booked before i arrive, still got time go to store buy cd + cigarattes + change money.

At 3pm door rang and my cewek came. She was petite in size totally my type :) . After icebreaker we had 1st shot. Decided to watch Danur 3, a horror indo movie. I have a fetish for horror movies in Batam. Lucky me she also love horror movie :D

It’s a very interesting place where I’ve gotten two free ladies in the past.

4) book harmoni is convenient but you either sleep early or sleep early in the morning. And why the fuck the curtains only pulled 1/4 from each side! Left 1/2 exposed to sunlight when the sun rises!

Overall.. 300 plus.. one lousy dirty fuck.. can’t sleep well hotel.. Lol

A tip for bros who want to go booking joints. If your hotel is far from the joints, take a Grabcar or Gocar to a nearby hotel near the joints. Then just walk to the joints to avoid the 300k taxi commision. Hotel examples are utama hotel, lai lai mutiara hotel and the legendary Formosa Hotel :D . Have to start planning a trip to Batam meant for aunties and uncles next week and i encounter an issue regarding hotel rooms,hehehe...

3 uncles wish to stay in one room and 2 aunties in another. And they had show wishes NOT to stay in the previous hotel i recommended for most newbies in Batam,hehehe...not becos it isnt good but more on wanting to stay somewhere different. So now, i need a room with 3 single bed and another room with 2 single bed. Room with 2 single can be easily found in any hotel but room with 3 single, i search and only manage to find one hotel that has it so far.

I do understand many hotels will be able to add an extra bed to a 2-single bed room but it would most likely be a children's bed due to the room size. So i am left with 2 options :

1. Find a room that has 3 single beds

2. Find a 2 single bed room BIG enough to accommodate another single bed.

7. Back to hotel, if uncles and aunties still have that bit of energy, there are still options to head for a movie or KTV session.

Next day morning, breakfast would be at Meximo Pub wantan mee or A2 Food Court, followed by Penuin wet market. Reason for going to wet market again is becos there will surely be things they forget to buy or things that they initially wish to buy but choose NOT to during the day before. Talking about aunties being fickle-minded at times,hehehe...

If time allows, will bring them to Lucky temple before heading for lunch. Probably one of the 4 lunch option stated above BUT if time isnt on our side, will bring them to either Astro Food Court or somewhere near ferry terminal.

Free and easy thereafter, and probably one last foot reflexology (if time allows) before heading back to ferry terminal for a cup of coffee at Morning Bakery or Malaya Cafe while waiting to go back Singapore (for that 1 or 2 uncle/aunty who needs to go back). Excelso is unlikely to be suitable for them.

Hehehe...i am expecting myself to be VERY busy on that 2D1N and 3D2N. :D

Just sharing here. Open eyes big big and read. Sinkieland is the only country in the world that prohibit speakers facing outside mosque. Speakers must face inside mosque so as not to disturb sinkies during prayers call. Pampered lot.

As for mobil and sepada noise. Batam has prospher. Not like 10 or twenty years back. Its only natural noise pollution are there. What so surprising? I can recommend hotels far away from noise. But then again sinkies never satisfied. They will come out with dozen grievances again.:rolleyes:

To date, i had only visited 2 times to Batam although in both trips there was no action, I still actively look out in Michat & Wechat (I use tech alot) for contacts to keep until I am back again. First of all, I would like to thank all the present & past bros who had help put this up, this thread is indeed informative.

I had a short question here is, are those ceweks on Michat reliable? I had my fair share of experience in Jakarta and mostly are not so pleasant. Recently was in Batam, I was able to get many contacts with many offer but their photos seems too good to be true so I am seeking some advice from the Senpais here.

To go on weekends with the same coupon, just top up another S$10 more. So the price becomes very close to the Orange Horizon Ferry ticket selling at Batam money changers at about S$37. Price difference about S$1 plus minus. E-Ticket for Horizon Ferry cost between S$28 - S$32 (weekday) to S$32 - S$36 (weekend).

Walk-in to Horizon Counter at Singapore Harbour Front is S$48.

and this Parkside (near the left red arrow) is also rather near to the mosque (right arrow with golden top, arrow tip is where one of the loud speaker is) ... not sure whether can hear wake up call at 4.30am

There will always be pros and cons anywhere. And how well one can adapt to their definition of suitable environment. Its is also on how well you knew about the area of stay too. My own solution :

1. You can choose to stay in the same hotel NOT facing the speakers,hehehe..i can understand what you were trying to tell me becos when i 1st started Batam and one of my trip, i was given a room on the 3rd floor of Formosa Hotel almost directly under Alishan KTV,hehehe...imagine, my room ceiling was shaking with loud music. Yes, it's literally "shaking"...hehehe...i remembered bro Blackpage has also EVER overheard his next door room's couple making out throughout the late wee hours during one of his past stay (so loud until the sound can be recorded in his own room). :p

Then again, we do not face with similar issue in our future stay in the same hotel. We learned not to make same "mistake" from experience.

2. Choose another hotel in that area instead. There is Gideon, there is Batam City Hotel, BCC etc. All of which i have stayed before, that do not have loud sound that would have woke me up in early wee hours. They arent very expensive type too. Most of their rooms is almost close to sound-proof, unless you were unluckily given a room near the lift, whereby every now and then you will hear the "Ting" sound from it,hehehe...happens to me during my stay in Gideon.

My beliefs were, there will NEVER be any "all good and no bad" (or all bad and no good) in any hotels in Batam,hehehe...just the most suitable. Most hotels in Batam arent that expensive, go find yourself one that suits you most,hehehe...it would be good for your future stay if you wish to visit Batam regularly.

Yes, Parkview Hotel was ex. Astro Hotel revamped to become an almost brand new hotel. It seems like a major makeover,hehehe...and the 2nd floor coffee cafe looks like its meant for smokers. Not a bad idea if i were to be there and be overlooking Grand Batam Mall. Parkview is another chain hotel. Hope they can provide up to standard service/room comparable with Zest (and be able to maintain those standard thereafter). I might just prefer this Parkview Hotel's open concept more than the Wey Wey hotel more concealed one. More like hotel that allows smoking and hotel that dont. On the floor got S$2, S$5, S$10 and S$50, Wey Wey only wants to pick up S$50 whereas this Parkview Hotel probably wish to picks all up,hehehe... :D

Another good about this hotel would be due to it being between BCS and Grand Batam Mall and has Astro Food Court besides it. Not forgetting A2 food court isnt far away. Hmm...if only Windsor and J8 food courts has more hotels around it within few mins walk away.

Overall feel is the girls there are prettier than other spas.
The full package is also cheaper than octupuss, negotiate directly with the ML.
Best part is, the girls all stand at individual massage room door for you to choose, which means which one you like, just go in. Most of them do full package at about 700 to 800k

This kind of thing is quite common in every super long weekend holiday.

Use incognito search on google chrome, look for 1 star or 2 star hotel in Batam but choose their higher-end room instead, you should still be able to find some better room. It also depends on why you go to batam for and what are your priorities too.

What i meant is, since the price is already high now, why not just get a higher priced but better and bigger room from a 1 star or 2 star hotel (cheap and good). Even better still if you know the hotel, call/email them directly to get a room. But do note that during peak season, hotel wifi can be an issue and during breakfast time, the queue might be long (to get a seat).

Believe me, by next Monday, all fairly good hotel rooms during the Deepavali holiday will be 99% out. ;)

Anyway, i definitely wont be paying 700k rupiah for a FJ in Batam (if include entrance already more than 1 juta). Singapore SBF forum advertisement on Indonesia girls is priced at S$100/2/90 as mentioned and advertised before. Some more recently there's an inclusion of average piano-type massage within that 90 mins. And the quality of girls (in terms of look department) were mostly 7.5/10 and/or above, easily. :p

Base on my personal point of view, shouldnt market price be around S$50/2/90 in Batam? Or somewhere around there, if i compare it with Singapore? :D

I dont use apps on my phone. Most time i use a PC to book hotel room. I tried agoda, the result came out was 1 queen sized bed and 1 single bed. And the add-on extra bed would usually be children-sized bed.

Anyway, i manage to call one of the hotel i frequent and they manage to adjust 3 adult single bed inside a very big room with balcony JUST for me,hehehe...but there's an extra 250k rupiah surcharge on top of the 580k rupiah room. :D

Looking at it now, quite LPPL since Harmoni Hotel hotel triple room cost only around 870k rupiah,hehehe... But i prefer the previous hotel rather than Harmoni Hotel whereby the things around that area being more expensive.

In Kampong Bule area, K-Mart, Circle-K ,Alfa-mart sell things more expensively than other mart of the same name anywhere else around Nagoya. Even massage (with or without special) is more costly. Money changer in that area also not very good rate. A lot of fake-Singaporean ang mo in the surrounding during weekend too.

Nowaday in Batam, girls are becoming more expensive and not as ignorant as before. No more 100k HJ and 200 FJ in Batam anymore. Lowest price is about 150k to 200k HJ (up to 300k max) and 350k to 500k for FJ (max for fj in Batam is infinity,hehehe...).

However, hotels and ferry tickets are becoming cheaper. Even Horizon has join in to compete against Sindo, Majestic and Batamfast (as low as S$28 2-way open ticket for weekday). Many older Batam hotels around Nagoya area like Goodway, Amir, Astro, Sari Jaya etc has closed down. New hotels like Paragon, Barelang hotel, Nasa, Harbour Boutique, Vanilla, Lumba Lumba inn, AK etc has surfaced. And in the making were Marriot, Wey Wey, Parkview etc. Those mentioned were hotels around Nagoya area.

And Taxi prices seems to have drop a little due to Grab, Gocar online taxi's competition. Harbour Bay ferry terminal to anywhere Nagoya is now nett at 30k rupiah. Many more hotels in Batam now were providing shuttling services too.

Hehehe...as for the MPs around...seriously, i lost count. Walk Utama Hotel one round and there's at least a dozen old and new MPs around providing massage plus special service. I no longer frequent that area as much as like in the past. The pricing there were not much better than hotel's MP, hence i stick to hotels and MPs around Formosa area which at times can be even lower in price and with cleaner environment than Utama area's MP. And they usually provide better quality service (in my own view only) for the same or similar pricing.

I frequent clean massage MPs quite a lot nowaday,hehehe...oh wait, i almost forgot, there's also a new shopping called Grand Batam Mall which is now VERY popular with a theater in it that has sofa or bed. Very suitable to bring girls there,hehehe...

Those coupon were on zero cost to them. Either they "die" burying those coupons with it by the end of Nov or they can at least earn something out of it. And Nov is coming in about 2 weeks time. :p

All these hotels who that provides FREE shuttle service to Grand Batam Mall shows a few things in common.

1. Their guest/s has all shown wishes to wish to come down town to Grand Batam Mall, hence they provide such services.

2. If they do not provide such services, they are likely to lose competition to the other hotels nearby BCS mall. Each trip from Batam Center area to Grand Batam Mall or from hotels not in Nagoya area gonna cost at least 100k from the hotel itself which will add on to the cost of the tourist/s.

3. The tourists coming to Batam, or at least majority of them, knew about Grand Batam Mall, hehehe...since Harbour Front ferry terminal has got a big big photo showing the newly opened mall which is at the main tourist area.

What i am trying to say here is no matter how Batam center is developed as a touristy area, Nagoya area is still the most tourist's preferred choice to be around,hehehe...and while Batam Center area is growing, Nagoya area is moving forward too, and in a faster speed.

Nearly 7 years down the road in Batam, i have not paid more than 400k rupiah for a bonk before. Be it the girl's age was between 18 to 40,hehehe...bargaining downward helps a lot in my adventures in Batam (not just my wallet but service level from the girls too).

The hotel was suppose to come pick us all up, they didnt (until i call them later). Not the 1st time same thing happened,so i arent surprised BUT i still got to call the hotel up to give them a piece of my mind before they eventually got someone to pick us up. But again, that was about one hour after we have reached Bayfront Mall.

Bloody hotel got no business from Monday to Friday, yet they can make such "stupid" mistake by allowing guest/s to wait at the ferry terminal for about an hour due to POOR coordination. Its a Friday when we arrived and we were the only 6 guests in the hotel occupying 3 rooms in it on a Friday.

How did i know, because 2 of the hotel staffs tell me so. Because during breakfast, we were the ONLY living human in it. Because there is no buffet breakfast. Breakfast was ordered from the room service menu. And we have our breakfast in a cafe on the 1st floor instead of the breakfast area on the 2nd floor.

Fair enough, the hotel was just less than 5 mins walk away from the ferry terminal. All of us were not handicaps, but i didnt know which groups of uncles and which aunties was coming in this trip, hence i thought it was the previous aunties and uncles in my past trips who has some walking issue that would be coming. It turn out this trip's aunties and uncles were physical fit (yes, even fitter than me,hehehe...). If it werent for the rain, we would probably walk over.

Anyway, what tick me off was that i didnt bring the hotel's number with me, hence i have to do a search on the internet via my mobile phone, which i do not like to (i have 2 Telkomsel sim card, remember? But i dont like surfing on phone). Eventually found their number online, called them and they ask some seriously stupid question/s, and that was the last straw before i blew my top.

Uncles and aunties werent upset over them being late tho, so i guess i am the only one being paranoid (i believe if i dont make that "call", they will never come but aunties and uncles didnt know),hehehe...this hotel was recommended by a friend who tells me its good. Seriously, i dont see how good it is as i am typing this down now. Maybe it was due to my expectation as if its like Formosa Hotel.

I seriously didnt like the idea of the 1st event of the trip turning out not according to my arrangement. Maybe, its the weather's fault. Maybe its the hotel's fault...it could also be my fault too (bad temper). Thank heaven,uncles and aunties who were way more older than me has got more patience and were more optimistic than me. Glad my sudden mood swing didnt affect their mood that day,hehehe... :D

Believe me, we book a full day taxi from hotel and the our driver took quite a bit of time to reach that place (driver didnt know where is Meximo Pub due to its closure and thought we are heading to a KTV,hehehe...). When looking deeper, almost all their room has 2 single bed and the room size were pretty small at around 18 square and command a price of around S$35+. Looking at the bed above, its actually 2 single combined into one. Dont be deceived by the kettle on the bed. I checked on agoda, none of the room has any kettle provided too. I had a feeling that they are new on agoda, hence the photos werent done up correctly.

How is it possible that the about S$80 room is the same size as their about S$35 room? The location of this hotel is good as it is somewhat in between BCS and Grand Batam Mall, probably no more than 5 mins to each other. And Astro Food court and A2 food court is seriously just a stone throw away.

Of course other than the part on the prayer sound and traffic on the road around the area that might cause some hassle to some and its current pricing, i dont see anything not-good of this hotel as yet, until i try the place myself.

There we are, bill paying time and the bill turns out almost half of Wey Wey restaurant at Harbour Bay. To be fair, Wey Wey's bill was higher costing about 1.6 juta becos it was food meant for 7 person and there was 2 more dishes on the table. This time, we only have 6 person.

i learned one thing in this trip to the restaurant, if we visit this restaurant with a taxi driver, the driver will be given fried rice and drink for free while waiting for their customers. And i also learned that some drivers will collect a small commission, between 100k rupiah to 200k rupiah from the restaurant too. BUT not our driver becos he is from the hotel. How am i so sure about it? Becos the bill says so and our hotel driver has refuse tipping countless times during our trip, citing its hotel rules and regulations. I "tested" this driver no less than thrice and the other drivers in the same hotel (during my parent's trip to Batam too).

My mum who used to work Jakarta during Suharto's era for nearly 2 decades tell me it could be becos most Chinese drivers are "too proud" (aka prideful) to collect tips. They rather ask for higher fee instead. How true is that, i am not sure. Hence i leave it to each of its own to believe (or not) what my mum believes in.

Every end of my past trips using the same driver, i have to literally "force" the tips onto the driver's hand/pocket. I use the word "force" becos i resort to some low level "violence",hehehe...

Next, i swing them over to Windsor Tua Pek Kong to look see look see (and exercise off the food they just ate). I didnt take any photos there since i already go there countless times. 3 of the uncles and aunties has not been to the temple before, 2 of them been there once. So there's a bit of photo taking among themselves for a while before we head back to hotel for our massage.

The massage session is where one of the most hilarious thing happened in this trip,hehehe...for one of the uncle.

After our late lunch,we checked into hotel (yes, we checked in late around 430pm), head to our respective room and have them gathered in one of the room in 15 to 20 mins time so as for them to leave behind their shopping bags, luggage and/or go to clear their WC business. Gathered up again, i help them break up some small change for tipping the message therapist in the hotel's MP later.

It was then late noon by the time we reach the MP. Happy hour was over (after 4om), so by right we do werent entitled to the happy hour's 30% discount. I kick up a bit of fuss over this and end up the supervisor has to call their MP manager to see if a discount should be given. They manage to get me 15% off, and unhappy with the discount, i talk to the MP's manageress in person over the phone and manage to gather a final 20% off. Not fantastic but well, at least its still "something" since we have 6 people, with 5 of us doing massage/reflexology.

Nothing to shout about on the massage on my part tho, but one of the lady therapist who was about 4 to 5 months preggy and was massaging the uncle's Vietnamese wife got the most compliment as she works REALLY hard on her. The lady therapist impressed every one of us with her working attitude.

After the massage session, we head over to A2 food court for our dinner. Uncles who wish to drink drank to their heart's content and our conversation were mostly on the massage session we all had and that is where the "fishy" business surfaced.

One of the uncle (completely new to Batam,1st timer) requested for hard massage, and thinking that a lady wouldnt have the ability to do so, ask for a man instead,hehehe...and that is where the "fishy" part comes about. :p

As according to that uncle, massage not wasnt hard as expected but was moving towards the piano type,hehehe...and alot of massage was focus on his butt and later almost hitting his groin area brushing through his "little bro" many times by "accident". Uncle got a really rude shock and push the male therapist's hand away from the groin area hence stopped the unwanted molestation. :p

The whole dinner time was a total laughter with Uncle curry rice and Uncle coffee shop keeps on teasing Uncle Molest over the massage incident,hehehe... uncle curry rice was the curry rice owner, uncle coffee shop was an owner of a few coffee shops in Singapore and Uncle molest, well... the unlce who got molested in the Hotel MP. Vienamese wife was uncle coffee shop's 2nd wife. Uncle molest's wife couldnt make it to this trip due to work and only Uncle curry rice's wife came along. I called Uncle Coffee shop's Vietnamese wife auntie even tho she's at least 10 years my junior, just out of respect. The rest of the them in this trip should be over 60 of age frommy perspective.

In this trip, this 3 uncles were like comedian or in Chinese call it, 相声 trio. Hence there was lots of cheering and laughter throughout the trip with no moments of boredom. In fact, i think the aunties may have felt a little bore becos Vietnamese wife tho speaks Chinese and English didnt quite communicate much with Uncle curry rice's wife. I did put in effort to help the 2 tho but well...seems like they both have some cultural gap in between probably also due the age gap too. I wasnt quite successful in this tho BUT i did make both of them happy individually by bring them to do/see what they wish for in Batam,hehehe... :p

This is one of the imperfection in this trip.

Dinner for 6 person, i lost count. Everyone there seems to rush to make payment when food arrived and some uncles also dont know if they were paying right,hehehe...abd kept bugging in the next few days if whatthey paid is correct or not since they would usually opens up their wallet to let me "pick" their cash in it to make payment,hehehe...they have to, otherwise they would often mistook 100k rupiah for 10k rupiah and vice versa.

Conclusion, a bunch of funny uncles who hasnt fully grown up yet. :p

Next morning, original plan was to go Eatern food court for fish soup breakfast, but well...uncles and aunties wish to try the hotel's breakfast, end up they ate too much of it and hence, we have to skip breakfast number 2,hehehe...like i said earlier in previous post,hotel only got the whole hotel only got 3 rooms of guest in it therefore we did not get the chance to try the buffet breakfast on the 2nd storey of hotel. The shopping this time didnt take up much time. It is still early, with much of our breakfast not digested in hence we walked over Aiko for some foot reflexology.

Inside the shop, there's been lots of talks on who wish to get a foot reflexology and who wish to have a whole body massage. End up all took up foot reflexology. Now, here comes another problem,hehehe...Aiko only has 3 girls and 2 guys doing massage at the point of our time there. And we have 3 guys and 2 ladies in our group. So went to withdraw my deposit there few days ago and close the that account. Maybank act fast too, immediately the next day after i receive that letter, they downsize their fix deposit interest from 2% (or 2.1%) to 1.88%, so i am kind of stuck,hehehe...

HSBC's endowment only for people under 65, hence i am giving it a miss for now. ;)

Anyway, i am still keeping a close look out as of now,hehehe...

I brought my auntie (my mum's sister) and my mum to go there to eat their chicken wing, the price is actually S$0.10 to S$0.20 more expensive (on average) as compare to Singapore. Thats according to my mum and auntie.

After my Batam trip with those aunties and uncles last week, i learned one small thing. Its not just about the price when it comes good tasting food, its also more about how the chef cooks the food. Well, one of the uncle was a chef (curry rice), the other one who owns several coffee shops too. Hence i begin to see things from a different perspective.

Next trip with these group of uncles and aunties, i shall bring them to the chicken wing shop to test it out. And see what they commented.

By the way, they all likes the Meximo Pub noodles. Maybe if there is a chance to see you coming to Batam, maybe can bring you there to test the noodles too. Meantime, if you happen to be at A2 food court, do feel free to try the Bak Chok noodles inside A2 food court. May not be as good as Bai Long or Meximo noodle, but would make do and beats quite a handful of noodle shop in that area,hehehe...

Bro, i have read and gotten locations of all the booking joints thanks to Bro NoNo and some other bros providing the info. My questions is, what is the best time to go hunting at these joints where the girls just started work so that I don't go too late and choose left overs only.


Usually most Massage Parlor that disguise as a booking joint opens at around 10am, and those KTV that disguise itself as a booking joint starts at about 1pm. For massage parlor during weekends, it tends to open a bit earlier than usual.

If you can make it to the a joint at their best timing you probably wont be able to make it to the next one on time (it wont be in the best time). Hence plan you route to move around promptly and NOT too many of them in a single day so as to get yourself as close to their opening hours as possible.

Thats what i usually do. ;)

In a single weekday, i cover about 4 booking joints and for weekend, only 3. No point getting girls after sunset on my part, as they were mostly rejects or "would-be runaways". To get the best girlS, i would normally go a day ahead to book the girl who has already been book in advance by others on that day that are NOT YET send (or pick-up) to their customer's hotel yet.

It goes to show the China Chinese frequent that restaurant too. They even got double-happiness cigarette for sale too,hehehe...

Anyway, the whole bill for about the almost same type of seafood yesterday noon at Kopak Jaya 007 kelong seafood is 980k rupiah. Cost more, but aunties and uncles claim the food taste better than yesterday's lunch. Well, again its to each of its own since i am no sea food person and not in my capability to say whats good or whats not good when it comes to sea food. They also claim its better than Wey Wey too,hehehe...

On my own, i find yesterday's Kopak Jaya 007 fried chicken better,hehehe...also cheaper by about 80k rupiah on the bill too. Anyway, i arent the one paying. And i forget to collect the bill too.

After lunch, bring them all to BCS Mall to shop for an hour plus, to get their mobile phone screen protector changed and coffee in one of the restaurant before heading back to hotel. Send one of the uncle (uncle molest) off to Harbour Bay ferry terminal back to Singapore (due to work) and at the same time shopping at Bayfront mall for a bit buying some Kueh Lapis.

Evening time, head over to Zen at Harbour Bay on the Galaxy KTV building.

Continue massage before heading to J8 food court for dinner. At this point, i didnt really took photos as this time round, food were mainly ala carte. No, i didnt ask them try the chicken wings,hehehe...due to them getting heatiness over all the fried food they had ate over the last few meals.

Next morning, buffet breakfast in hotel. All of them like me, took lots of porridge. See, whenever there are more than a certain number of rooms opened up in that hotel, there will be buffet breakfast, otherwise its menu order. Just like the breakfast we had yesterday. The hotel is full house on a Saturday and its Sunday.

We checked out early, left our luggage at the reception. Took the shuttle service to Nagoya Hill Mall to shop around further, bought what we needed and shuttled back to hotel. Walk over to Namii for a hair cut at 120k rupiah (cut and wash) and follow by some more foot reflexology in the same shop before walking back to hotel to claim our luggage.

Penis for my thoughts this uncle/auntie Batam trip :

1. Do NOT let the 1st event of the trip dampen my mood, but look at things on the brighter side. My mood can affect others in the trip, just like positive mindset among these uncles and aunties can brighten mine. I have that choice to choose if my trip is going to be success or failure.

2. I will be looking for another hotel that is better than this one for my next uncle/auntie trip. Most probably around BCS area, i mean since most of the event happens within penuin area. But i kind of miss this hotel's good service,especially so with the driver.

3. Comparing Wey Wey, Kopak Jaya and Rezeki sea food meal, Rezeki still ranked top place. Next trip going to this restaurant is inevitable,hehehe...but on a personal note, i prefer Kopak Jaya.

4. Cheap food dont mean good food, fresh food dont mean better food either. The chef who cooks it matters a lot. No wonder in the past, so many in this thread were eyeing on Marine Live sea food. Now, i get a better understanding. (as the thread move forward, i am learning) Too bad, it closes down, otherwise i might just bring uncles and aunties there to try it out.

1. Quite a number of shops in Batam do body to body massage, but i highly doubt there are any soapy/tantric/Nuru massage in Batam. Just body to body oil massage.

- Ocean at Harbour Bay, beside Wey Wey hotel
- Blue Moon at Kampong Bule, behind Harmoni Hotel
- Keyzha/Passion , i think both closed down
- if i dont remember wrong, New Spa girls at Batam City Hotel do that privately too (have to talk to them in private).
- There are other shop who do that, so you may wish to look around or ask the massage therapist if they have such services (clue : especially those girls with big breast,hehehe...). Per hour massage in those individual massage shops around Utama hotel not expensive, feel free to check or try them out.

2. I am not a sea food person, hence i am the least qualified person to tell anyone which seafood restaurant is better than the other. Due to the fact that MOST if not ALL sea food places around Batam do not place a price tag on their menu, ALWAYS check the price before ordering. Most waiter/waiteress can speak some level of understandable English. If you go with a taxi driver,likelihood the driver gets a cut from the bill you paid for too (hence i usually recommend friends to check before ordering).

3. Singapore online market place is between S$40 to S$60, talk to any taxi driver on the street in Batam, pricing should be around 300k to 450k rupiah. Hotel charge about 500k rupiah to 600k rupiah. I am talking about a 6 to 7 car-seater here. Full day taxi here were often refer to 8 hours to 12 hours of bringing you around. All petrol were inclusive. Regular Batam cheongster usually get a full day taxi between 200k to 300k rupiah.

I would say DELTA Spa would be the best for you,, BUT no BJ,, only HJ. Why I recommended this one, facility is great, nice hot and cool poo. Nice sauna room. Nice lounge. Price, for 3 session (inclusive of HJ) about 75SGD.

Not everything in Batam is cheaper than Singapore tho. Or price difference too big apart. Example Oppo phones, tho Batam is cheaper by about 20% but they only provide 1 year warranty whereas Singapore provide a 2 year one to one exchange. Daily necessities like groceries (rice,oil,salt etc) is however much cheaper as compare to Singapore. Things like shampoo, shower wash etc. Some of them,Batam is a little more expensive.

Nope, no compensation. But i earn some interest there and there up to the 2.5 years my money has been in it. And the interest roll-over interest too. I didnt withdraw the interest since 2.5 years ago.

When I went to Jakarta last month, some michat girls there agreed to 250k per shot after bargaining , I tried it in Batam and a few Batam michat girls agreed as well, but some got piss off and angry, while others declined straight away.

With bad economy in Indonesia, there are now more freelance online, but it takes luck and some persistence. They will ask for 1 to 2 juta for LT and for 500k to 700k for ST. Since there will be girls seeking for fast customers and there is really no other customers if they miss out on your offer, some will agree to lower price. Keep it at ST 250k and LT 800k max. Some will eventually agree. Just dont be insistence on a specific girl, or you will be carrot headed. Act like you can give her a pass and look for others.

At 300k ST you will have more willing girls, but it wont take long to get some to agree to 250k. Stand your ground at that price. There are too many unemployed people in Batam and some normal girls have to work part time to earn for their families, the supply of freelancers have increased a lot.

Meaning if your coupon expires on Dec 2019, and if Horizon Ferry open ticket for Jan 2020 is available, you can go to Horizon Ferry counter at Harbour Front, pay S$28 to get the ticket (not coupon) in advance. Therefore extending your expiring Dec 2019 coupon to Jan 2020.

Of course, you need to got to Batam by 31st Jan 2020, otherwise your S$28 will go wasted.
